Quickie knit stashbusting present for the nieces:
Calorimetry (Knitty Winter 2006)


K's: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Chunky in ivory held together with an Opal sock yarn scrap

M's: Dale of Norway Free Style in eggplant held together with a novelty mohair glitter thread

I modified the pattern slightly - casting on only 80 stitches for the smaller heads, and only doing half of the short row repeats (I think I only did 7). I sewed small buttons on the back, and they fit both girls very comfortably.

They seemed to love them!
